OUR HISTORY

In 2007, co-owners Chef David Lawrence and Monetta White opened the doors of 1300 on Fillmore in the historic Fillmore Jazz District of San Francisco with the mission to serve Southern inspired American Cuisine to bring every neighborhood, culture, and class a little taste of comfort dining.

In 2017, we brought our celebrated flavors to the international terminal of San Francisco International Airport so travelers across the world could enjoy our finest modern riffs on Southern classics, with our top-notch ingredients, creative libations, and a posh supper club vibe.

Prepared as interpreted by internationally recognized Chef David Lawrence, he combines classic French training with Southern flavors using fresh, California seasonal ingredients. Chef David's North-meets-South cuisine includes imaginative creations such as Fresh Water Shrimp Hushpuppies, and refined interpretations of Southern favorites like Barbecue Shrimp N' Grits and our famous Black Skillet Fried Chicken.
